You have chosen one of the nicest 2 bedroom 5 star rated cabins available in Julian. Complete with A/C and Heat. Built in the 50's and completely upgraded in 2016 this cabin is very secluded & quiet. Only 1.5 miles from Julian center so close but yet so quiet.
Trails are all around & it is very close to Volcan Mountain Preserve which is an amazing place to visit and hike.
The ceramic wood stove gives it a most special ambiance. A wonderful deck with a new patio furniture are outside. Inside are many antiques as well as historical information about Julian.
Washer and dryer in shed for your use if needed.
If you want to get away from it all and have quiet rest this is the place.
A high quality hammock is also in the shed for your enjoyment. It goes between the 2 trees to the left of the shed while facing it. High end EGG BBQ is quite the item these days is is nicely placed on the large deck.
The first room next to the bathroom has a beautiful and comfy queen size bed (new mattress) The 2nd bedroom also has a queen size bed . There is a TV in both bedrooms with Netflix, Amazon Prime and utube TV. Wifi is free!
Please note there is a separate charge for wood (if needed). You need to tell us if you want to pay to use our wood or you can bring your own. Also included with the wood purchase are firestarters.
Please note the driveway is narrow and if you have a low car you could scrape the bottom so please look carefully before you approach. Most are okay with it but in the interest of full disclosure...!!!
Pet fee is $45 extra for each pet and will be added to county tax and firewood fee if requested. Most do park in the driveway but we are not responsible for any damage to your car if you decide to do so.
If you add additional people after the reservation is made there will be a $12 per person per night charge.

This is a very special cabin & not just a place to stay. Your cabin will be nicely updated with all the modern conveniences. We've labored to offer an experience, not just a place to sleep. This is a historical cabin was built in the 40's. It's complete w/ antiques & a clawfoot Tub. Restomod antique phonograph. Trails close by. Walking distance (1.5 mi) to Julian center. Quiet & secluded w/beautiful hammock. Full kitchen, Get away from it all. Classic books & games ready!

There is a code to enter the house Storage shed with washer/Dryer on site. No hot water or heat in the shed. Hiking trails nearby A/C and heater in unit as well as a wood burning stove If you want to use our firewood during the stay there is an additional fee as well as for pets, just let us know so we can add to the reservation. The driveway is somewhat tricky and not advised for low cars. Park on street if needed. There is a security camera on the property that only looks onto the deck. Feel free to unplug if you want. Just plug back in when you leave.
One of the most beautiful areas of Julian. Wonderful for bird and deer watchers. There are the most unusual giant doves and other species of birds in the area. Also turkey and deer frequent the area. Very quiet and peaceful. Please see our guests comments. Also go to Juliancabin com for more info
